CROSSING THE JORDAN
Experiment Materials:
- dawn dish soap
- pepper
- water
- q-tips
- bowls
Experiment Instructions:
Step 1:
Add water to the bowl until it reaches a depth of about 1 inch.
Step 2:
Sprinkle a layer of pepper onto the surface of the water.
Step 3:
Swab a drop of dish soap onto the end of your q-tip.
Step 4:
Tap the soapy end into the center of the pepper layer and watch what happens.
Step 5:
Fill out the reflection sheet below and connect the results of the experiment with how the waters parted as the Israelites crossed the Jordan.
