Holy Week Lesson for Palm Sunday

Materials:

paper
pens, markers, pencils, & crayons
scissors
tape

Holy Week Foldable Instructions:

Step 1:

Start by folding your paper in half vertically and make a crease on the fold.

Step 2:

Fold your paper in half horizontally and crease it.

Step 4:

Fold your paper horizontally once again and crease it.

Step 5:

Unfold your paper.

Step 6:

Trace over the lines to divide your paper into 8 rectangles. Fill out the information about each day in its corresponding box. The older your group is, the more they can write on their foldables.

Bonus : Pin the Tail on the Donkey

With the remaining time, challenge your class to create a large donkey and tail on a seperate piece of paper. Then place it in a plastic sleeve. Hang it up and put a little glue or tape on the tail. Let the kids take turns pinning the tail on the donkey. Connect the donkey to Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
