Instructions:

Step 1:

Print out the following document, which contains the categories in the game.

Step 2:

Cut along the dotted line.

Step 3:

Fold it in half vertically along the solid line like shown.

How to Play Categories:

Spread out around the room. Next, pick a category from the list. Toss the ball to someone and have them fill in the phrase "My favorite [category] is...." That person will toss the ball to someone else, say their response, and toss it to the next person until everyone has gotten a chance to share. Pick another category and repeat. I did not include this on the worksheet, but it would be a good idea to ask about favorite bible verses or stories for older kids.

Minigame Instructions - This or That

players go to the left or right side of the room depending on which of the two things they like more. For example, you would say "chocolate or vanilla ice cream. chocolate is on this side and vanilla is on the other." Kids will have a chance to move around some more, as well as to find things they have in common with their peers.
