MOTHER'S DAY LEI
Materials:
- flowers
- string
- printer + paper
- scissors
- Crayons/Markers
Instructions:
- Print out the following sheet with the verse for the lesson on it.
- Cut along the solid line to create strips of paper.
- Have kids decorate and color several of them.
- Cut the tips off of your flowers as depicted.
- Cut (insert length) of string.
- Tape the end of the string to the table.
- Poke the string through the hole of the flowers. Repeat until string is full.
- Tie the lei together.
- Staple on the strips of paper in the same way you would if your were making a paper chain.
